ERP Finance and HR System (FCDO)
In 2020, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) and the Department for International Development (DFID) merged to form the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), uniting development and diplomacy in one new department that brings together Britain's international effort. To support the change, the Hera programme, designed in line with the government’s shared services strategy to shift to cloud-based systems was established by the FCDO to deliver a modern single integrated Finance and HR system.
ForJo Ltd managed the delivery of the ERP and EPM solution within the HERA program, successfully delivering the design and build completion for R3 and R5 releases, encompassing all modules within the ERP. We coordinated the planning and support for various stages of the program's delivery and releases, including configuration, testing, data migration, and transition activities, and played a key role in ensuring the timely transition and delivery of integrated solutions to production.
Our activities led to the successful delivery of the design and build completion for R3 and R5 releases, encompassing all modules within the ERP, supporting the Hera programme to progress to plan, meeting all its milestones to create a single system for the department that improved user experience, alignment of government overseas, drove efficiency and provide better management information for managing resources effectively.
